French and Indian War reenactment: Ray's grandfather was impulsely about Militaria
and this passion was passed on to the next generation. This hobby takes up most part
of Flowers's leisure time, but sometimes there are other things being done. Rockhounding (rock and mineral hunting/collecting) on weekends, Collaging on holidays, Model figures when visiting the brother in Fremont, Ohio
Ray Flowers's Bios
Ray Flowers grew up in a little village near Huntington, Indiana as child in
a big family of 5 children. The father was working as a Pipe Fitter for a big part
of his life and needed work hard to secure
a pleasant life for his family. The mother,
Sue Flowers,
was responsible for the household and
still additionally was employed part-time as a Senior Weaver.
When Ray Flowers was 10 years old, Ray's father got a new job as a Hair Washer in Fruit Cove, Florida
and the family moved there. Flowers changed to the local high school and found it easy
to integrate in the new environment.
